bachelorette parties 101

So, bachelorette parties are a way of having fun with your girlfriends and family, is that special moment for the 'bride to be' where she can enjoy her last moments as a single woman.

But yesterday I went to the most BORING bachelorette party (and I haven't been to many), but this was extreme boring, it looked more like a morning breakfast with friends than an actual bachelorette party.

I've gathered some information about bachelorette parties, games and ideas so that you don't have to go through what I just went yesterday...

TIP #1

Where are you having your party.

Please, don't! Under any circumstance have a bachelorette party in a public place... like a nice garden of an hotel, or a park (unless it is YOUR park and no one else sees it except you). You don't want external people having an amazing time seeing what's going on, you won't feel comfortable, you'll just feel embarassed and that's not the point of the party, it's just to let go and have some fun. So I would recommend some place like a house, party salon, or someplace like that. More private, petit comité.

TIP #2

Decorating.

It is important you decorate the area where you are having the party.

Games.
There are loads of fun games you can play at bachelorette parties, for example.
Pin the macho on the man, Toss game, Scavenger hunt...

Where to buy them? Well, go to your nearest sex shop and look for all these games, party favours and decorating items. Or you may even come up with your own games! I'm sure there is some imagination left in that little head.

Tip #4
Stripper.
Ok, this one is not completely necessary, but I do guarantee laughs!
Look in your local newspaper, the internet, or as my father said "The stripper directory" (no, there isn't one!) But look for it! Sometimes when you even hire the stripper, he is the one that takes the games to play and is the party entertainer. I'm sure there must be one in your city.

Tip #5
Have cameras and video in hand.
I'm sure this day the "soon to be bride" would love to remember with her friends. Besides the actual wedding, of course!

And NEVER!

NEVER! Give away cupcakes as a party favor and have heart corsages to your guests. It looks more like a baby shower or even a kid's party than an actual bachelorette party.
